Join us and discover the spirit of Kaunas! Uncover hidden stories, explore its modernist charm, and walk through a city that once held the heart of a nation. A journey through time you won’t want to miss!
This tour will introduce the city of Kaunas during its "golden age", the interwar period. A time when a small provincial town became the temporary capital of Lithuania, and the city we see today emerged. During your time in Kaunas, you will learn about its social and cultural life, discover why it was nicknamed "Little Paris," and explore and climb one of the hidden staircases of Kaunas' hills. We will touch upon darker historical moments of the city. We will start our tour at Vytautas the Great Monument and finish at St. Michael the Archangel's Church, both located on Freedom Avenue. Let's embark on a journey together and discover the city as it was 100 years ago!
