Things to do Jerusalem and the Dead Sea Full-Day Tour

My name is Jonathan. I am a tour guide and an Israeli soldier in Israel. I have been a tour guide in Israel for 10 years and love every second of it. On this amazing tour, we will start our day at Jaffa Gate, which is one of the gates to the Old City. We will check out the Tower of David and take a walk through the Arab Market. We will visit the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, where Jesus was crucified, buried, and resurrected. Afterwards, we will visit the Western Wall, the last remains of the Temple Mount. We will have lunch in the Jewish Quarter. From there, the bus will pick us up from the Dung Gate and take us to Qumran, where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found. After exploring this 3,000-year-old Essene village, we will travel to Ein Gedi and do a short hike to the main waterfall, where we can swim (so please pack a bathing suit for this trip). Afterwards, we will visit the fortress of Masada, the largest fortress in the world, built by King Herod, and where the Jewish Zealots made their last stand against the Romans in the Great Revolt. Lastly, we will travel to the Dead Sea and relax and float in the water! We'll also have the option to have dinner there.
