Historic Charm of Guayaquil Tour

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had an amazing experience on the free walking tour with Juan! He was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the tour both fun and interesting. I learned so much about the city, its history, and local culture. Juan was also very engaging and happy to answer questions along the way. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting—definitely worth doing!

The tour was nice and took about 2 hours, visiting from the city center to the malecon and las peñas. The guide was good and had interesting information. However English wasn’t easy for him, we appreciate him trying. Thanks you.

The tour guide Juan was impeccably cordial, knowledgable, and accomodating. We visited all of the significant tourist locations and he provided historical context in an easy-to-understand manner that was tailored to our knowledge levels (one of us was from Ecuador and already knew a bit of history, and the other didn’t, but neither of us felt confused or bored). He also provided us advice on attractions/restaurants to visit after the tour, what times to visit safely, and where would be best to avoid. There were many times Juan stopped to ask if we had any questions (all questions were answered thoughtfully and completely), he offered for us to stop for snacks/refreshment/bathroom, and he also had no complaints taking a bunch of photos for us! (There was also no problem with the tour even though we arrived almost an hour late, and for that I am very grateful.) In addition we felt nothing less than safe, respected, and looked after during the entire tour. I seriously reccomend this tour guide for anyone planning to stay in Guayaquil in order to get acquainted with the city in your first few days and recieve lots of ideas/recommendations for the rest of your trip. Don’t hesitate to book this tour and don’t forget to tip well!!
