Linh oi! I take a walking tour in every city I go to - it’s a great way to get any quick overview of the major attractions and a much better intro to locals, the culture, their perspectives. Linh was an excellent guide, providing not just the history and culture but her own perspective on life in Vietnam. You’ll have to adjust your ear to pick up the cadence of her English at times, but I have to do that when talking Australians as well so why would you expect anything different. Do not hesitate, a great tour and she augments with pictures, videos and insights.

Our tour guide, Hà, was knowledgeable, friendly, and very considerate throughout the entire tour. She managed the schedule well, and because the weather was so hot, she thoughtfully arranged a short break at a café so everyone could rest and cool down. Hà was also very well prepared, bringing documents and historical photos that helped bring Saigon's history and culture to life. “Memorable tour ”

It was a memorable tour in this great city. Ho Chi Minh city have a lot to offer to tourist. Not only the long history, the war, but also the today’s modern move forwarded modern development. You would only get to know more, and start appreciating the city and history behind it when explain and tell by local. Our tour guide, Kio are knowledgeable and very well english spoken. She tried to explain some of our question within her knowledge. I would strongly recommended this tour for anyone who like to know more about the city, it will be much meaningful than just walking around, taking beautiful picture and doesn’t know the history behind the building. Looking back on war happening for the pass few decades, and how fast the city recover and develop, i am sure Ho Chi Minh city will be very different in the next few years when i come back again

I would like to mention it was boiling hot today, and I and some other guests were really feeling tired. Our tour guide Helen went to great care to make sure everyone was ok, and pointed out regularly where we could top up on drinks. I really appreciated this. The tour itself was an excellent introduction to Saigon, having arrived just the previous day. Helen took the time to ask at the start of the tour what everyone would be interested in seeing. I have not seen this level of commitment on a free walking Tour. Helen also provided some elements of her own life history in Saigon and what life is like for local people. Highly recommended .

The tour is useful for someone who just arrived in Vietnam for the first time and wants to have a casual walk through the centre. Most information provided was very general and easily obtained online. I missed a true connection to the places we visited and there was not enough content to justify 3 hours. The guide often used a tablet as a crutch instead of relaying real experiences and anecdotes.

Really a nice tour through the city. The guide presents uncountable photos on his tablet to all spots and gave a lot of background informations. If you are interested in historical informations, book this tour.

“A beautiful tour of the city”

Linh was a wonderful guide. She asked for our expectations upfront and adjusted the tour based on what we were interested in. We did the 5pm tour and enjoyed walking the city when the heat wasnt so intense, and then followed Linh’s recommendations on food/drink places. Cảm ơn, Linh! ????

“Very interesting tour with a very friendly tourguide!”

“Filled to the brim with knowledge in history on a whim”

Helen was our insight into the wonderful sights and sounds of Saigon for two and a half delightful hours. With her exceptional knowledge Helen was prepared to answer all of our questions, never once did we feel that she didn’t do her research. If you want a glimpse into what Saigon has to offer I highly recommend Helen’s walking tour!

Ha had a beautiful approach to engaging all of us on the tour. She is one of among the best tour guides we have come across.. honest, passionate and deeply engaging in way she conducted the tour and patiently shared stories spanning from French colonialism to the American war...there is much to learn on this tour. Had a wonderful afternoon wandering the streets of Saigon, learning how the city transformed into HCMC over time. Helen did a wonderful job providing historical facts with but a modern context/lens which was appreciated!!
