“Souq Waqif Walking Tour”
Although I was the only one signed up, Hussein was early and carried out the tour. The tour was very informative. Hussein was very knowlegeable and friendly. I gained a deep understanding of Qatar’s history and the local culture, especially their immigrant culture. Since I was traveling solo, Hussein even offered me a ride back to my hotel. Hussein was a great host and embassador for Doha. When I return to Doha, I will definitely reconnect with Hussein for other tours. Highly recommended tour!

“Go for it”
Highly recommended. Probably one of the flagship walking tours of Doha. The host knows his stuff and the people around, gives you ample time and also offers tea at his expense at the end. He took my suggestion of introducing more unique tours in the right spirit. The only minor inconvenience was a change of agreed time so I had to alter my plans at the last moment but nothing that was unmanageable. The Souq itself is quite charming and culturally rich if a bit touristy at places. Hussain, if you're reading this, we're playing a game of Dama next time and you're allowing me to win!

“Amazing tour guide!”
Hussein was an excellent, enthusiastic tour guide. I was the only guest for my slot, and he arrived early and we started straight away. He found a safe spot for me to leave my bags as we walked around. He introduced me to locals in their businesses and answered all of my questions in detail. In the afternoon he then drove us to the camel racing track to watch some qualifiers which was a great experience!

I had a great comprehensive tour with Hussain. Very knowledgeable and thoroughly enjoyed it. I especially liked learning how to play Dama with a retired pilot, catching the Camel procession in front of Parliament and the Falcon market. Thank you for the hospitality! cant wait to return. : )

His has excellent knowledges about the culture, the religion, the archtecture, the politics , economics and the inhabitabts of Doha. He gave us precious advices and recommandations about public transports, shops and restaurants, camel races and falcons. - He was able to answer patiently all our questions.

“Great introduction to Doha”
We (four adults) joined Hussien for a Walking Tour of Souq Waqif. The booking process online was easy and communication via WhatsApp was great with confirmation instantly from Freetour.com and a follow up message from Hussien our guide. Meeting place was easy to find and Hussein was on time (waiting for us). The tour lasted 1.5 hours and was very informative. Hussien was friendly, approachable and had a really great sense of humour. We learnt lots and had a good look around the area. Hussien kindly treated us to a mint lemonade at the end of the tour which was very much appreciated in the heat. Great tour and guide - would highly recommend.
