“Good Tour But Died A Bit AT The End”

Overall I enjoyed the tour, the great weather helped too. I'm not a dog person but Anastasia's friendly dog Dina really enjoyed the walk too and I enjoyed meeting her. The content surrounding history was well informed and I learnt quite a bit. There was some good content about daily life and politics in Chisinau and tips for tours outside the city. The tour, however, dropped off a cliff towards the end. One of the last stops was a branch of La Placinte which Anastasia recommended as a good place to eat, there was a queue there and she asked if any in the group would like to try it, a few did, most didn't but we had to wait for those who did. After about 10 minutes a lot of us waiting got bored and decided to say goodbye before the end. This should be the absolute last stop of the tour, if there is to be a break then it should be somewhere where everyone can sit down, have a drink, use the toilet etc., not a takeaway place - especially not a popular one at lunchtime with a long queue. I'd also recommend the the tour guide gives tips for pubs, bars etc. to visit in the evenings. I've seen organised Pub Crawl tours advertised but a lot of us prefer to explore ourselves and a tip from a local would be nice.

“Magical Chisinau.”

Anastasia didn't give us a tour, it gave us a wonderful immersive experience of her city, showing us all of the little magical corners of her city. She patiently answered to all of our questions, between talks, told us a bit about herself and family and gave us a good historical tour of all the wonders of the architecture of Chisinau. Showed us where to eat ( La placinte was excellent!), where to exchange money, where to for a swim and where to have good coffee!. my Son and I had a great time discovering the city with her. Nice tour with Anastasia and doggy - we went around the city hearing some stories both about history and culture. It was cool that she had prepared some historic photos & banknotes for the story. Also Anastasia answered all the questions we had, and it was cool twist that we finalized tour in the cofee museum with opportunity to have a coffee, cherry wine (you purchase yourself, but that’s completely fine) and candy prepared by Anastasia. Having had couple of other city tours in other countries - I’d suggest, if possible, consider another meeting time (e.g. 5 p.m.) during hot weather time, also the story would be nicer with some cool facts about present times - how peple live, what they enjoy, what are the traditions, etc. now in modern Moldova.

“Walking round Chisnau (kissmenow)”

Anastasia was wonderful. She was there waiting when we arrived and her English was excellent. In total, there were 7 of us on Anastasia's tour from 4 different countries. We had a tour round the city centre highlights that lasted the best part of 3 hours. Anastasia answered all the question put to her and was considerate in looking for shade in the 30+ degrees that we were in. “GREAT TOUR”

One of the best tours I’ve taken so far. There were 18 people from 7 countries in our group. Our guide Anastasia did an amazing job and spoke great English! Our tour took almost 3 hours and the nicest stop came in the end. Our guide, Anastasia, made a great first impression. She clearly knows a lot about history and the city without needing to consult any documents. However, my second impression was a bit underwhelming ????. We didn't get any truly hidden gems or other helpful information, like how the Marshrutka bus system works ????. Lastly, Pushkin coffee spot appears to be more of a tourist trap offering overpriced coffee ???? at the end rather than a valuable experience.

“Amazing”

We had an absolutely amazing experience on this walking tour! The guide was incredibly enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and engaging from start to finish, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. What really stood out was how thoughtfully the tour was put together. We weren’t just shown the main sights — we were also taken to a tourism information center, which was super helpful, and even to an old Soviet-style coffee shop. That was such a unique touch! It gave us a glimpse into how people in Moldova used to enjoy their coffee back in the day — a truly authentic and memorable experience. Highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to explore the city in a fun, insightful, and slightly unexpected way!

“Do not miss this fantastic tour!”

We cannot thank Anastasia enough for this fantastic tour. It was extremely interesting, it lasted 4 hours and honestly it was not too much. Anastasia turned this tour into a beautiful walk around th ecity centre, with interesting information about the culture and the country and also very good recommendations of places to eat and drink. “Great experience!”

It was great! The guide was nice and competent, took us for three ours in the city centre of Chisinau explaining a lot about the history of the city and the country, also giving us advices and hints about where to eat and drink or enjoy other experiences. And Dina was a plus, her dog was very nice and funny.
