Things to do Historic Charleston: Self-Guided Exploration Game

This is a self-guided exploration game crafted by a passionate local storyteller and played outdoors, on the ancient cobblestone streets of Charleston. You will explore 15 iconic locations while following a family mystery about two missing brothers. At each location, you'll be solving a real-world puzzle by searching for clues on various elements such as monuments, graffiti, and facades. The game is mainly focused around the French Quarter area of Charleston and includes many historical facts and local legends that simply cannot be found in a guidebook. Starting from St. Philip's Church, the stops are spaced an average of around 150m apart, with each location taking around 8 min to complete. The route also passes through Rainbow Row, George Eveleigh House, Provost Dungeon and ends in Washington Square. At every stop, the app unlocks a new chapter and guides people to the next location. DISCLAIMER: You will explore by yourself using the Questo app on your phone. No physical guide or strangers will be involved. The full route covers approximately 1.9 km and takes around 2h 6min to complete. You can play it any day, at any time. Languages available: EN.
