“Excellent walking tour of Cardiff”
This is.a must-do when in Cardiff - the others being the Cardiff Castle house guided tour and the BBC Wales HQ tour! The other 2 requires a fee but this walking tour is theoretically free but you should definitely tip the guide to show your appreciation.
Eugene was a wonderful and friendly guide who shared a lot of useful information. The walk itself is not too hard or tiring since Cardiff city center is really not that big. I found the tour very useful and informative. Thanks, Eugene!

“VERY INTERESTING ”
The tour was about 2 hours and 20 min... but it flew by. The guide was super helpful. Knowing the history of the town gives you a diferente outlook. Strongly recommend the free tour of Cardiff. Small city with TONS of interesing history,.

Not a great day weather wise but Remo our guide made sure we were kept upbeat..what a great informative tour of the history of the city.Because we did the tour in the morning it then gave us our bearings for the rest of the day and places we wanted to revisit..deffo recommend thanks Remo

“Cardiff Walking Tour”
We had a great tour with Rory on the Easter weekend. We walked all over the old city as well as the castle and castle garden; Rory shared lots of stories and anecdotes about Welsh history and language and the relationship with England. He also told us about major historical figures who shaped the city. He is super knowledgeable about the city’s history and current situation and was excellent in sharing his expertise. He was also able to give us some tips about the Welsh language and local food and restaurant choices. Great tour and would highly recommend.

We were one of four parties in the first Friday tour post lockdown. Despite the wind and rain, we enjoyed this tour with Eugene, which took us through the main sights of central Cardiff. As well as giving us information about the history and sights of Cardiff , he also gave us some background to Wales, the Welsh people and the Welsh language. All done in an entertaining way. Eugene was not only entertaining and informative, but he also made the tour feel personal.

Eugene, the proprietor and lead guide, provided us with a most entertaining and informative experience as we walked the streets, backways, and parks of Cradiff. His well informed and balanced commentary on history, culture, language, architecture, and art was delivered with a good blend of enthusiasm, seriousness and humbleness. Without a moment of exception this was time very well spent and contributed heavily to a positive and memorable experience in Cardiff.

“Great tour with Eugene”
Great tour with Eugene, knowledge and cheerful guide, good content, wealth of knowledge about Wales and Cardiff.
The only comment I can make is Eugene's recommendation of a little restaurant in one of the arcades in front of the castle, called Garlands or something like that. We went there for breakfast a day after and quite literally staff couldn't care less, service was rubbish and waiting time super long.

That was my first visit to Wales and I really enjoyed the walking tours (both the Cardiff Bay one on Sunday afternoon and the Cardiff City Center one on Saturday morning). “Worth travelling from Australia fir”
Oh my, Eugene braved the rather moist day to entertain a small group (4) of us around the wonderful city of Cardiff. This was not like other walking tours we have done - heavy History content. Eugene told us about Cardiffs history but woven in with the people, language, and food. The Market, Bute park, Cardiff Castle, Arcades, and so much more we visited. Go visit Eugene, say hello, and enjoy the tour of his "home" city.
