We joined the Bucharest Old Town: Stories, Landmarks, Legends & Local Life walking tour and were absolutely captivated, all thanks to our incredible guide, Beatrice.
From the very beginning, Beatrice brought Bucharest’s Old Town to life with her warm personality, depth of knowledge, and storytelling flair. She blended history, architecture, and quirky legends in a way that made everything feel vivid and engaging. We didn’t just hear names and dates, we felt the city’s soul.
She pointed out small details we would have otherwise missed, connected historical events to the buildings around us, and shared personal insights that gave the tour a truly local feel. Her passion for Romanian culture and pride in her city shone through the whole time.
The tour was well-paced with plenty of opportunities for photos and questions, and Beatrice was always happy to share recommendations for food, museums, and hidden gems.

Our guide Laura (as I heard it) was very considerate and meticulous in ensuring we were at the correct starting place and all kept together as she guided us around the old part of the city. Her commentary was excellent and most informative. In all, it was two and a half hours in good company with a plethora of detail. I would do again.
