“This was such a fun and informative tour.”
I never give anything all five stars - but this tour truly deserves it. It was a really informative tour. The guide (Maria) was excellent. She made it all very interesting and fun and her personality and sense of humour shone through. The pace was good for all ages and I really did fall in love with Bucharest having seen it through her eyes. It was so well worth the 2hours 30 and I was not bored for even a second. Excellent. I wish I'd had more cash as would have loved to have tipped more.

We walked forever trying to find the meeting location and was never able to find it. We left plenty of time but apparently iPhone GPS doesn’t know where that location is. Other free walking tours have been great. An easier meeting point would be better or an actual address.

Met at the meeting point and the group was large so split into 2. Daniel was our guide and it was a very hot and sunny day. Daniel made sure we stayed in the shade wherever possible and we stopped at a small shop for refreshments. Daniel was great, very knowledgeable and answered questions and provided some useful places to eat and visit. Never done a walking tour before but this was great and I would definitely do another. Really recommendable Free Tour. We got an impression of the newer city’s part as well as of the old town. Our guide Elena was really friendly and personal. Trough the tour she tells us about the history and politics in an amusing manner. Anecdotes and short personal story’s gave the tour an entertaining touch. She interacts with the group perfectly, so nobody gets bored. Even when you not much interested in the history of the city, this tour is worthwhile to do. We also got a lot of tips for restaurants and bars.
We will come back in 10 years, so we can see the development of the City.
