“Nice tour!”
I visited Belgrade with my fiancée this August, and the experience was very interesting. Marko was on time, polite, and ready to explain many things about Serbian culture, their language, their alphabet, the main activities for young people, and architectural curiosities. We visited Trg Republike, Knez Mihailova, Kalemegdan Fortress, and other important landmarks of downtown Belgrade. The tour felt relaxed and not too rushed, giving us time even to enjoy the sunset from Kalemegdan Park at the intersection of the Sava and Danube rivers.
In the end, Marko gave us a ride in his own car to Skadarlija, a very nice gesture from a polite man. If I could suggest something to improve this tour is to maybe have a little more structure in the discourse, since many things Marko said were interesting but felt a bit disconnected and perhaps improvised. Overall, I would recommend everyone to see Belgrade through the eyes of a local man like him.

We covered a lot of ground, literally too, and with some welcome shady spots and only a couple of church/museum stops (for the history and aircon). Great tips on food and answered all our questions. You really get to see and learn about the culture, stories and hidden spots… much more than a typical walking tour. At the beginning, Marko gave an option to do the tour by bike or walking. I chose the bike and had an amazing experience. I learned much more about Belgrade and life here than I expected.
