Things to do Guided Day Trip to Battambang City
We will start from Siem Reap at around 8.30 AM from your hotel lobby, and we will be driving to Battambang city which will take us around 3 hours, along the way will pass by so a good deal of beautiful rice paddies and traditional local Khmer/Cambodian Villages.
By the time we arrive in Battambang, we will be greeted by one of our local hosts there and start our trip with EK Phnom Temple and Big Sitting Buddha with the Ek Phnom monastery. After that, we are checking the local and main market in Battambong called Psa Nat (Nat Market) to see how locals sell their daily products/fruit/veggies and try some small bites of local street food and snacks before continuing to see the old french building around the area.
After lunch, we will continue to try the famous local way of transportation (the Norry or the Bamboo Train) this is the original way of transportation of the locals and is still being used till today, after the bamboo train we will continue to see Phnom Banan and the Banan temple before the sunset at The famous Bat Cave where you can seat with some drink and enjoy the fly out of those million bats with the sunset.
