“RIAD”
In one hour and a half Riad showed my daughter and me a big number of famous buildings, monuments, places of interest in the Baku center. One day before we made a walking tour alone and of course we missed several of these places and had no explanation of the sights. Riad was also able to answer our questions considering recommendations for restaurants, general data about Baku and the country, prices for different commodities, other places to visit...
So generally this tour is a must, Riad is a very good guide, probably other guides are good, too.

We had a fantastic 2-hour walking tour of Baku, exploring both the old and new parts of the city. The tour was excellent. Our guide Mirhashim was a gem. He co-ordinated with us well in advance to make sure we had the meeting location marked.
Mirhashim was very knowledgeable and made the information tailored to our interest and questions as we went along the tour. His timeline about the history of Azerbaijan was accurate and very interesting. He also at the end of the tour very kindly informed us of the possible scams that we may encounter and how to mitigate them. We used his recommendation to pick a couple of restaurants for our dinners during our stay and they were spot on.

Mirhashim - A young knowledgeable fellow was my guide for the tour. He coordinated with me even before the tour and met with me on time. I was the only one in the tour, still it was not cancelled. That shows the professionalism. Mirhashim walked me through the streets of Baku and then in the old town, providing key information of prominent spots. He was friendlyand answered all my queries. He even provided recommendations for good food places. His English was excellent and he carried photos and maps for reference. The tour does not include entry to the Maidan tower or Shivanshah palace. Mirhashim showed me the ticket counter and explained various tickets options. His knowledge about Azerbaijan's history, culture was commendable. I had a great time on this tour. Definitely recommended.

I happened to be the only guest (I was contacted in the evening by the guide and she suggested to move the tour to another time slot to have more people in a group - I couldn't do it though... I was ready to cancel because I thought that to be alone on a tour would be uncomfortable but Gamar said it's not a problem at all - and I'm glad I didn't cancel!)

It was really good the tour. My guide was Gamar, she was really helpful, nice, patient and gave us a lot of useful information!
We went on the weekend of f1 so most of the roads were closed, she managed to do a great job and excellent tour! Also answered all our questions!
