Our tour starts with the pick up from your hotel in Cairo or Giza to, starting the excursion to Alexandria (which is the second most important city in Egypt, located in the north of Egypt and the main port of the country), the primadonna of the Mediterranean Sea, was founded by Alexander the Great in 331 BC.
The tour starts at 7:00 a.m. with pick up from the hotel, in a private air-conditioned vehicle to Alexandria about 220 km away.
We arrive in Alexandria around 10:00, visiting the famous Catacombs of Kom El-Shoqafa (rock-cut tombs around a three-level subway shaft in the Greco-Roman-Alexandrian style).
Then we will visit the famous column of Pompey, the tallest granite column in all of Egypt, 26.85 meters and know its history along with the temple of Serapius of Ptolemy the Second and the national library. Then we continue with the visit of the famous library of Alexandria with its museums and the bust of Alexander the Great.
Finishing the tour with the citadel of Qaytbay, built on the same site of the famous Lighthouse of Alexandria.
