Things to do Explore Addis Ababa with a Local Guide

The day begins at 10:00 AM with a visit to Unity Park. Explore Menelik's Palace, including the Throne Room and Banquet Hall, followed by a tour of the park's zoo. Lunch will be at one of Unity Park's restaurants. At 1:30 PM, depart Unity Park for a quick photo stop to capture a panoramic view of Addis Ababa. Around 2:00 PM, begin your walk towards Piazza Adwa (Arat Kilo). The route will showcase old buildings from the Italian occupation, as well as any historic Armenian and Greek churches along the way. Upon arrival at Piazza Adwa, view the monument commemorating the Battle of Adwa. Here, you will see weapons used and learn about the strategies adopted during the war, gaining an understanding of the war's implications for modern-day Ethiopia. Finally, at 7:00 PM, enjoy dinner and a traditional performance at Totot Restaurant.
