Excursion around Ubud and Goa Gajah

Ubud is located in the interior of Bali being the heart of it. This part is considered the spiritual center of Bali and in it you can find locals and tourists living together daily.

We will start the excursion visiting a typical Balinese house. It is a way to see live how a local family lives. After this, we will go to the Batubulan village, located between Ubud and Denpassar, in the south of the island.

They are known for their stone carving work and for the sculptures they create. Then we will enjoy the famous Sukawati handicraft market, where wooden handicrafts and clothes are displayed.

Nor can you miss trying the typical food of the area such as Babi guling (roast pork) or nasi campur (rice mixed with meat and vegetables).

Finally, we will visit the Gunung Kawi temple, a complex of carved stone temples, known as the royal tombs of Bali.
