Come and enjoy and get to know a little bit of this maritime Palma so unknown to many of us. We will talk about the different seafaring districts of the city, the activity of the corsairs, some of the most illustrious ones and some of their stories. Our captain Antonio Barceló, quite possibly the most important sailor in the history of Mallorca. Originally a privateer, he became captain general of the Spanish navy.
Of course you will also discover curious stories about the merchants and their emblematic place, the Lonja de Mallorca, built by Guillem Sagrera.
We cannot forget the fishermen. The most humble but absolutely transcendental activity in the seafaring history not only of Palma but also of the whole of Mallorca.
