Discover how Hitler achieved the power, how the Third Reich was for Berlin and how it is still present in the memory of Germany.

What is a Free Tour?

It is about a walking visit with an official tour guide for free. Once the tour is finished, you can put a price according to your level of satisfaction.

How could a beginner Austrian painter cause the Second World War and challenge the major world powers? Join us on our Third Reich Free Tour and discover how Hitler achieved the power, why he took Germany to the tragedy, and the meaning of the Third Reich for the city of Berlin; and know all the stories and places that describe that dramatic period.

To start with, we will unfold the history of the currently closed Berlin Tempelhof Airport, one of the Nazi most representative architectural symbols. We will also walk through Wilhelmstrasse, the district where the Nazi ministries are located, as our Spanish speaking guide explains the main personalities of Nazism.

We will venture into the Führerbunker, the bunker where Hitler spent the last days of his life, and the Unter den Linden Avenue, where the Nazi parades took place. In the Brandenburg Gate we will learn how the memory has been manipulated by the current Germany after Hitler. We will also come across the Soviet War Memorial, in honour of the Red Army victims in the fight to defeat the Nazism in Germany.

Finally, we will put an end to our Third Reich Free Tour in the Reichstag (the Berlin Parliament) where the truth of its fire will be revealed.
