A full day the Basilica of Saint Peter, the Vatican Museums, the Colosseum and the Roman Forums in Spanish. With Skip the line tickets
We will join a small group that will walk through the Vatican Museums and St. Peter's Basilica. Through the more than 2000 rooms that house the prestigious collection of this exceptional museum, the "Patio de las Estatuas del Belvedere" stands out today called "Patio Octagon", the Etruscan Museum, the Gallery of Tapestries, with a collection of different manufactures of the 16th and 17th centuries; the Gallery of Geographical Letters, decorated by Gregory XIII and the Sistine Chapel, one of the most famous and visited monuments in the world. Commissioned in the 15th century by Pope Sixtus IV, it is the most iconic example of papal patronage during the Renaissance.
Thanks to the genius of Michelangelo, we will enjoy an unforgettable experience. This great artist created one of the masterpieces of painting, where frescoes surround the entire space. The Creation of Adam stands out, and the incomparable Final Judgment, located on the wall of the altar.
Next, we will leave the Vatican Museum to discover the imposing beauty of St. Peter's Basilica. The construction works lasted 160 years and involved first-rate artists. Maderno's façade, Michelangelo's dome, or Bernini's Square are just some of the wonders that will catch our attention during the visit.
We will experience the incredible delicacy of the sculpture of La Piedad, the impressive black and gold Baldachin located inside the basilica and the statue of Saint Peter on his throne (the right foot worn by the faithful, who show their devotion by caressing it). We will also be able to appreciate the tomb of John Paul II and that of John XXIII.
