Ho Chi Minh Free Walking Tour

Our Ho Chi Minh Free Walking Tour takes you to the city that has more motorbikes than anywhere else in the world and one of the most important in the country. It was the former capital of South Vietnam, known formerly as Saigon but later called Ho Chi Minh.

Our adventure begins under the statue of Tran Hung Dao and we will head towards the banks of the river Saigon through to Nguyen Hue - District 1, where we will stop to enjoy a short break for coffee.

In the company of our Spanish speaking guide, we will visit the Ho Chi Minh City Hall built in a colonial style and currently known as the People´s Committee. In addition, we will also contemplate the building from where the popular radio show was broadcast which inspired the film “Good morning Vietnam”.

We will then continue on our route towards the impressive Reunification Palace and the Bach Tung Diep park where we will enjoy a pleasant stroll and discover its fascinating history. Head towards the Saigon Basilica of Notre-Dame and the Central Post Office.

We will finally have the chance to visit the Saigon Opera House and head back towards the banks of the river Saigon before finishing the tour at the Hotel Majestic.
