Put on your helmet, hop on your bike and enjoy a different kind of experience on two wheels. Great, right? Well, we´re just about ready to set off!
Enjoy a fun bicycle ride through the most colourful streets on our Havana Free Bike Tour, an alternative route that combines the city´s most emblematic places with others that are off the beaten path providing us with some unique moments.
Alongside our Spanish speaking guide, our adventure starts in Modern Havana where some of the most striking monuments in Cuba are found. Places to enjoy the peace and quiet of its numerous green spaces before setting off for the Necropolis of Colombus, a national monument in the country or the fort known as Castillo de San Salvador de la Punta, one of the three fortresses that appears on the coat of arms of the Havana.
Afterwards, peddle your way through Havana Forest, a green space located right in the middle of the city where lush flora and fauna prevail and is teeming with different species that take refuge here.
We will also visit well-known places like the Anti-Imperialist Platform, Revolution Square or the Miramar district, the upscale district with more glamour than anywhere else in the Cuban capital. Moreover, we will go across to the University of Havana and the fountain known as the Fuente de la India.
Continue along through Callejón de Hamel (Hamel Alley), an alleyway covered with murals, graffiti, sculptures and a mix of surrealism and abstract art apart from its characteristic street culture that comes together with music, rhythm and dance.
There will be a chance to explore the famous John Lennon Park where the statue of the English songwriter sitting on a bench is located despite him never having visited Cuba and where his music was banned for years. Finally, our route on wheels ends at the Memorial to the Victims of the USS Maine.
If you like fun experiences and you fancy going on a tour of the amazing Cuban capital in a different and unforgettable way, don’t think twice about booking a place on our Havana Free Bike Tour. You won´t regret it!
